This Privacy Policy sets out how 1Centre Limited (NZCN 581 8911) and 1Centre Australia Pty Limited (ACN 623 450 215) (‘1Centre’ ‘we’, ‘our’) collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information including when we interact with the users of https://www.1centre.com/ (‘Website’) and the 1Centre Customer Onboarding & Management Platform (‘Platform’) (‘you’, ‘your’). The use of this Website and the Platform is subject to our various terms and conditions of use, including:

  1. this 1Centre Privacy Policy;
  2. 1Centre Supplier Terms & Conditions;
  3. 1Centre Business Consumer Terms & Conditions; and
  4. any other terms and conditions that you have agreed with 1Centre.

This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with the applicable terms and conditions.

  1. Information we collect: The personal information we collect may include:
    1. contact details, including name, mobile number, address and email;
    2. payment and account information (for example, bank account details, credit/debit card details, including card type, card number and expiry date and other financial details);
    3. identity information (for example, biometric identification data (where you have consented to our collection), government or other identifiers such as passport details, driver licence details, bank cards, account statements or utility bills);
    4. any additional information provided in an application you make;
    5. audio (voice recordings from your conversations with our customer sales team – we will inform you in advance if your call is being recorded and you may request that your call not to be recorded);
    6. information about the services you have purchased or are interested in;
    7. information about how you interact with our Website and Platform and communications, such as information about your device ID, device type, geo-location information, computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from websites, advertising data, IP address and standard web log information and cookies and other tracking technologies, to help ensure our Website and services are able to function properly. Some of this data is not personally identifiable to you and will be aggregated and anonymised for analytics purposes (such as device IDs);

    1. provided by you through registering an account on the Platform, submitting a trade application, providing information about your business through the Platform or otherwise submitting information to us through the Website;
    2. provided to us by you through any other method (including without limitation correspondence and discussions) through your use of the services on the Website and the Platform;
    3. collected by us , and / or our third party service providers (such as customer analytics and feedback service providers, HubSpot and AskNicely), through tracking your use of the Website or Platform, including the content you access and any services you utilise;
    4. collected by us , and / or third parties (including HubSpot and AskNicely) through log files or cookies (as set out below);
    5. collected by us from third parties, such as related entities and organisations which provide services to us, including financial service providers, credit reporting agencies, identification service providers, your trade referees; and
    6. collected from publicly available information.
    7. We and our third party service providers may also collect aggregated information generated by our systems, which tracks traffic to, and within, our Website or Platform, but does not relate to you personally.

  3. Consequences for failure to provide: Disclosing your personal information is voluntary. However failure to provide necessary personal information when requested may result in you not being able to register or operate an account which is needed to gain access to certain features of the Website or Platform.
  4. Log files: We use log files in order to enhance your experience on our Website and to analyse trends. Log files gather information such as the IP address, browser type and platform of each visitor. This information is used to analyse trends and administer and operate the Website and Platform.
  5. Cookies: Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored on a user’s device. We use cookies to personalise your experience on the Website and Platform (including through the use of cookies provided by our third party service providers), make it easier for you to navigate our Website and Platform, and improve your experience by storing your search, posting and application history, and your login details (if you choose).   6. Purposes for which 1Centre collects, uses, holds and discloses information: The personal information you provide may be collected, used, held and disclosed by us (and our employees, officers, agents, contractors and affiliates as defined below) for the following purposes:
    1. verification of your identity for use of the Website or Platform, to conduct identity verification, address verification or credit checks for invoicing and billing purposes and contracting with you and to enrich your profile and search ability;
    2. to provide you the services and facilitate your access to services provided by third parties (such as credit reporting agencies) through the Platform;
    3. to manage our customer relationship with you;
    4. to communicate with you;
    5. to respond and follow up any queries, complaints or requests you might have;
    6. to provide information, recommendations and advice about our services;
    7. to assist in providing better services to you by tailoring them to meet your needs;
    8. to provide you with further information about us or other websites or goods or services offered by us or our related companies or third parties or which we consider may be of interest to you;

    1. may disclose information about you, including your personal information, to our affiliates (which means any person or other entity which directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with us);
    2. may disclose information about you to third party suppliers who you specify;
    3. may disclose information about you, including your personal information, to our contractors and third party suppliers to enable them to provide services and products to you and us in relation to the Website or Platform, including but not limited to transaction processing service providers, credit reporting agencies (e.g., for credit checks and credit reports as well as allowing credit reporting agencies to footprint your requests for credit reports on the Platform with your details, or if you are already a subscriber to their services, identify that you are and match your details), and trade reference service providers, hosting service providers and providers of IT and support services, website administration services, fraud detection and prevention services, data analytics and marketing services;
    4. may disclose information about you to our professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, audit assessors and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance, auditing or accounting services including but not limited to for the purpose of investigations, compliance with laws and contractual obligations and fraud prevention measures;
    5. may disclose information about you to third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets;
    6. reserve the right to disclose your personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, respond to government requests for information, facilitate court proceedings or to protect our rights, property or safety of 1Centre, its personnel or others.
    7. We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our affiliates, partners and advertisers.

  8. Advertising and third party links: The Website or Platform may contain links to a variety of advertising and third party website sources. Some of these links may request or record information from users or use cookies or other methods to collect information from you. We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third party sites, and encourage our users to review the privacy policies of such sites before engaging in any activity with them.

Data Storage, Security and Overseas Disclosure: Any personal information that you provide to us through the Website or Platform is collected and stored on data centres located in Sydney Australia. 1Centre and its affiliates are based in New Zealand and Australia and may access your personal information from those countries. We also use third party service providers who may hold or access your personal information outside New Zealand or Australia. We will take technical and organisational precautions (including generally accepted industry standards) designed to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration of your personal information. However, no method is completely secure, and while we take measures we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information we collect from you. We will retain your personal information for as long as it is required for the purposes for which the information was collected and may be lawfully used. We may also need to keep your personal information for a longer period but only where this is required or permitted by applicable law.
  10. Data Access and Correction: You have rights to request to access and to request the correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This can be done by contacting us by email support@1centre.com. There is no charge for making such a request or providing you access to your personal information. We will respond and deal with your request within a reasonable period of time from the time it is made, usually within 30 days after receiving your request. Occasionally it may take us longer if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will let you know and keep you updated. If we refuse your request we will provide you with a written notice that outlines the reasons for the refusal. We may need to verify your identity to respond or your authority to receive the information requested.

    We take steps aimed to keep the personal information held by us about you accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, we rely on you to advise us of any changes to your personal information. If you are able to access your personal information via your online account, we request that you ensure this information is kept accurate, complete, relevant and up-to-date.

  11. Electronic Messages: If you provide us with electronic contact details, you agree that (until you inform us otherwise) we may communicate with you by electronic messages (e.g. emails) for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy (subject only to Section 12).
  12. Electronic Marketing: We will send you electronic marketing messages where you have opted in (or otherwise agreed) or where we otherwise are lawfully able to do so. You may unsubscribe or opt out of receiving electronic marketing messages from us. This can be done by utilising the unsubscribe facility on the electronic marketing message or contacting us via the contact details below.

Business Transitions: In the event of a change in ownership of all or a portion of 1Centre or the Website or Platform, your user information including your personal information may be transferred to the new owner so that the Website or Platform can continue operations. In this event, your information would remain subject to this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  14. Changes in Privacy Policy: This Privacy Policy is effective on the Effective Date set out at the beginning. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Any changes made will be updated in this Privacy Policy accordingly and apply from the new effective date, so we encourage you to review the privacy policy for the latest information on our privacy practices. If any changes to this Privacy Policy are significant or substantial, we may additionally advise you in writing to the email address registered to your account if you hold an account with us or post a message to that effect on our Website and the Platform. Your continued use of our services, the Platform and/or our Website, requesting our services or the provision by you of further personal information to us after this Privacy Policy has been revised will deemed to be your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

You will need to provide us with sufficient details regarding your complaint and any supporting evidence and information that enables us to verify your identity and authority to access any personal information about you or others from us. We will review your complaint and determine the steps that may be taken to resolve the complaint. We will notify you in writing if we require any additional information and also of the outcome of our review and our response to your complaint. If you are not happy with our response you may complain to the relevant Privacy Commissioner, whose contact details can be obtained from the relevant websites noted below under “Further Information”.
